Greenpeace activists map beech trees in the Spessart forest to document the location of valuable old forests. Greenpeace maps the forests, because the “Bayrische Staatsforsten” (Bavarian state forests) so far do not publish the maps of their state forests.

Some of my photos were also published on the Greenpeace website and in Greenpeace’s online magazine “Die Vermessung des Waldes” (Measuring the forest).
